Smokin’ Heroine-Drunken-Drumettes
A trio of Sonoma County’s GrEaTs… ‘Rocky Chicken’ and ‘Sonoma Spice Queen’ meets ‘101 North Beer’ to make this simple, beer simmered, spicy, smoky chicken dish.

  1. In a small bowl mix together Cajun spice, smoked cherry wood salt and allspice; stirring to blend. Sprinkle evenly over chicken, coating all sides.
  2. Heat coconut oil in an 11” frying pan over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken. Fry about 4 minutes per side; you are looking for a deep golden color.
  3. In a large measuring cup mix together Heroine IPA and apricot jam. Add to frying pan and simmer for 30 minutes; chicken should be cooked through at this point.
  4. Mix together cornstarch and cold water. Stir into frying pan, mixing well. Simmer for another 4 minutes, stirring occasionally
  5. Ready to serve or you may cool, refrigerate and reheat the following day.
