Hot Italian Hero
This hero is just as delicious served hot or cold! Depending how you slice it, it makes an excellent hand held appetizer or an entrée.

Ingredients

loaf
Sourdough French bread
8
oz
pepper jack cheese
grated
5
oz
dry coppa
5
oz
prosciutto
5
oz
black pepper coated salami
3
cups
baby arugula
1
TBSP
olive oil
extra virgin (EVOO)

TBSP
Balsamic vinegar
2
tsp
garlic
crushed
Instructions
Slice loaf lengthwise down the center. Sprinkle each side evenly with grated cheese.
Put under the broiler until cheese is melted and starting to turn golden.
Layer meats on bottom half of loaf, starting with coppa, prosciutto and then salami.
Mix together olive oil, vinegar and garlic. Toss with arugula. Pile on top of meat.
Top with loaf top. Slice and serve immediately.
