Finger Lickin’ Rib Sauce
You are going to have to pass around plenty of napkins for these saucy ribs (finger licking accepted)! This is a recipe I created many, many years ago…it’s been a keeper!!

Ingredients

cup
onion
chopped
1/2
cup
butter
(I prefer Challenge Butter)
2
cloves
garlic
16
oz
tomato sauce
1
cup
ketchup
1/2
cup
chili sauce
2/3
cup
brown sugar
1/3
cup
cider vinegar
1
cup
pineapple juice
2
tsp
soy sauce
1
tsp
dry mustard
Instructions
Sauté onion in butter until translucent. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Baste with sauce after the ribs have browned and cooked; over a low fire so the sauce won’t burn. Turn and baste until saucy and delicious!!

This recipe makes enough sauce for 3 racks of Pork Baby Back Ribs.
